Zydeco T began 7 years ago when Louisianan Bill Burbank (gtr, voc) got together with Atlanta Swamp Opera's Larry English (acc, voc) and began work. Early in 2000 the band really came together with the addition of veteran pro musicians Doug Landsburg (dr) and Joe Fleming (bs). The final kick comes from dance instructor Anthony Lewis (rb, voc) who drives the band with Creole shouts and percussive rhythm. What's so special? Beyond our love of the music, our joy in performing it and the Louisiana roots of two of our members, lies the essential fact: This is a band BY and FOR dancers. With two Zydeco dance instructors in the band we are able to pick songs that reflect all the variety of the music and dance. We work hard on every song getting just the right tempo and groove. ZT HOME
